Review: Cane+Austin’s Retexture Pads

My favorite beauty experiment to date! I’m doing Cane+Austin’s New Year, New Skin 10-Day Challenge and loving the results. I’m midway through the challenge and seeing so much progress using the Cane+Austin Retexture Pads. My skin feels as smooth as ever and I’ve paired it with my Korres Wild Rose collection. Cue the before shot:

The Process

When I started this challenge, I knew I wanted to be consistent and use the same products so I knew that the pads were truly working. First, cleanse your face then use 1 Cane+Austin pad and finish off with your favorite moisturizer.

⭐ philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser

⭐ Clarisonic Mia 2 Facial Cleansing Brush

⭐ Cane + Austin Retexture Pad

⭐ Korres 24-Hour Moisturizing and Brightening Cream (Day Use)

⭐ Korres Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial (Night Use)

My foundation is applying easier than before and I’m able to blend it out to a smoother surface. I have larger pores in my t-zone, especially around my nose, and they are quickly becoming less noticeable the more I use them.

The Retexture Pads are described as an at-home 10% Glycolic Acid facial treatment to exfoliate, even skin tones, reduce age spots, smooth out wrinkles, and minimize the appearance of pores. The secret to a brighter and more youthful complexion!

Glycolic Acid: A beauty ingredient used to effectively treat fine lines, dullness, acne, oiliness, and uneven texture.

My “experiment” officially ends this Thursday. The Big 10-Day Reveal will be posted on The Beauty Aisle Instagram. Stay tuned!
